New Dress Up Closet

We have SIX kids out today. ( I want to remind you that you get 10 absences per semester before ABC has to review your file to allow someone else to take the spot. )   It has been a slow day.  Things seemed a little more calm here with that many of our friends out.

I took some pictures today but the cord to sync them to my lap top is in the other room and this morning between 8:00 and 8:30 my back decided to be contrary so when I can I am sitting still with an ice pack . I will post the few pictures that I took on facebook.

We got a chest of drawers from Dallas and Mr. Randy made a little kids wardrobe out of it.  He took the top two drawers out and put a rod in and wah lah ~ we have a new area to hang up our dress up clothes in.  The bottom drawer is used for the shoes and there are hooks on the side to hang our hats and capes on.   We have been using a night stand  and the kids would just wad the clothes  up and throw them in the drawer. The ones on the bottom or in the back rarely got used.  Hopefully this will have a dual  affect and help them to become more responsible with their clothes at home too.

We read a book called ” Who took the pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.”

We did our Friday dance party ( though I am wrestling it to get it to post .)

We played a game with the pumpkin candy totes. I put magnetic letters in the pumpkin and we took turns pulling the letters out and telling what they were.

I hope you have a great weekend !
