The Wish You Well Board
Our day starts with Hazel holding the wish you well board seeing who is here at school and who might be gone. If someone is absent they remain in the heart and we wish them well if everyone is at school together we choose who to wish well, most days it’s Rowan or Benjamin.
Today we used our wish you well board for a little math. We sorted the girls and the boys . We counted them and determined which group had more or less. Obviously we have more boys. The term more is a very familiar term with preschoolers . From infancy we say “ do you want more?” The term less is not used quite as much. It is used less ( really terrible joke …)
In your conversations with your littles try to use less familiar words to expand their vocabulary.
