Dial Three
I have no pictures today of wonderful activities we did . Our lesson plan included tracing our hands and making a chart called ” helpful hands / hurtful hands. ” Instead… we worked on our assessments ( Dial 3 ) . These assessments have to be done within 45 days and I agree they are valuable to some extent.
“Developmental assessments are a process which allows one to understand a child’s competencies and to design learning environments which will help a child grow to his or her developmental potential ”
I still have 8 children to do the concepts portion of the Dial 3 on. So Im afraid tomorrow will look much like today.
The good news is .. the kids still play as I work one on one with each child.
Other good news is … a couple parents stopped by to play and that eased my feelings of guilt a little. :/
After lunch we had the choice to race to get everything in that I had planned on our lesson plan or go outside. I will always choose outside if there is an option , especially if we have been inside all day.
