Welcome to our New School Year !

Tonight was our first play date / mixer/ get to know you event of the new 2012-2013 school year.  I was so excited to meet our new friends and the mommies and daddy’s that brought them.  I dont believe I heard one melt down or see one run away child the whole hour we were at the park .  Many of your are probably thinking ” Were you expecting it ?”  Well, No I wasnt but not having one sure makes me feel so much more excited about the first few days of school going smoothly.  I think Randy and I got to talk to each child and parent individually !  Thanks so much for all that were able to come out and play tonight.  Our big focus this year is going to be parent involvement , so please plan to spend time with your little one at their  school .  It is proven that children do better in school when their parents are involved in their education. Let’s get an early start !  We cant wait to get to know you better and welcome you into our home.

We have two more mixers before the school year starts and I think they are both at our house.  One is with parents again and the last one right before school starts you can leave your child with us and enjoy the time while they slowly adjust to their new school.  Our parent meeting is the 13th at 6 pm at First Baptist Church in the Revolution Building.         (  That is at the back of the church on Dawn Hill Road.  )  The Saturday before school starts we have open house and  it is a Pirate and Princess Party so ” Ahoy Mates  and Princess get your eye patches and your tutu’s ready for a fun year ! ”

Please enjoy the pictures we took tonight at the park and lets get this party started for a wonderful school year.
