It’s Raining It’s Pouring

What do you do when you plan a rain unit the week AFTER all the rain ?  YOU MAKE IT RAIN !!

We also watched the 8 minute story of ” Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” on you tube and talked about what we would like to see fall from the sky if it rained food!  Then, of course, we drew it.

We also made a graph today of ” Who likes the Rain?”  Of course we had MORE kids that like the rain. Who wouldn’t when you get to stand in the drive way with your umbrella and get water sprayed on you  ?

Here’s the video clip if you want to watch it again with your child

We love to make it rain!! I haven’t done it this year yet, not sure why 🙂 I will have to look for all those umbrellas and get out the sprinkler, oh what fun!! I love the look on their faces when they hear the sound of the “rain” on their umbrellas, and then when the sprinkler moves down and will most definitely get them in the face… to cute!! It looks like you guys had a great day!!

Do they need umbrellas tomorrow? I was going to send one with Kimber this evening but forgot it. I will try to remember to send it with him in the morning if they need it tomorrow. Keep up the good work Miss Debbie and Mr. Randy.
