Hop on Pop

>I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them Sam I am. The pictures of our day are out of order but so are most of Dr. Suess’ books. After having green eggs and ham for lunch we graphed who liked them. As you can see 12 children liked the green eggs. My FAVORITE part was an hour or so later when we were journaling and I caught Audrey making a graph of her own. Love it!

After reading ” The Foot Book” many of the kids decided to do some measuring.
We made red and white parfaits … patterning.
A favorite of the kids today was OOBLECK. Randy made this with them and they had a blast. If you want to make it at home and can’t read the recipe, let me know and I will get it to you. Obleek is a corn starch and water mixture that seems to turn from liquid to solid and solid to liquid with the touch of your hand.

A little mess was made and Anna got the little broom and dust mop without being asked to clean it up. YAY! We are learning to be responsible!

On the table was a matching game. The pieces are like puzzle pieces if they rhyme.
More patterning… red white red white red white…

We made these after reading ” Ten Apples Up on Top”

What a great day ! Happy Birthday Dr. Suess !
