Today we focused on how and when we wash our hands. I can let you know here when the important times to wash our hands are:
When we come in from outside.
When we touch any sensory products like Play-Doh.
After we use the restroom.
Before we eat.
After touching ( picking ) our nose.
Basically, we spend a lot of time washing our hands
When we wash our hands there’s a certain way we do it. First we get our hands wet. Then we add soap and lather for 20 seconds. Then we rinse to get the soap off our hands. Then we dry our hands completely.
We read a book that helps us understand why we do it that way.
When you adopt the routines at home that we have at school the child does not get as confused and understands the importance. I hope you’ll join along .
