Miss Wishy Washy is one of my favorite books  !  Today we watched the video book that was 5 minutes long .

After listening we talked about things like :

Do animals on a farm take baths ?

Where did the farm animals go ?

If we wanted to act out this story how could we make the costumes ?

We also talked about the letter W.  Its like a party in your mouth if you say it over and over.  We made a list of other things that begin with W.

What is fun is when you see the children taking new knowledge and applying it later in the day  !

Mary had a Little Lamb , Little Lamb, Little Lamb…

We like to think Mrs. Wishy Washy probably did also.

We counted ” sheep” to put back in the pen.  Most of our P4’s are consistently counting to 20 and using one to one correspondence correctly.  Most of our P3’s are getting to 13 and starting to skip a number or two. No biggie.  We count all the time !   It will come.
