I am in LIttle Rock reading grants for DHS . I really couldnt afford to be gone more days from the classroom but at the end of this day I can honestly say I am SO glad i came and I couldnt afford to miss this opportunity. When I was first allotted Arkansas Better Chance grant money it was a competitive process but since then i have ran my program with consistent quality and kept current on my paperwork therefore my grant has been an automatic renewal. I have never seen other programs grant forms until today and I am a bit challenged to make mine better incase it ever falls in a category that has to be scored. While scoring other potential grant holders today I reflected on my own forms and the mistakes I made. I learned a lot today.
The kids did too !
Down on the farm today they played in mud – real mud.
They made fake mud ( pudding ) they could eat !
They played with clean mud playdoh.
They made mud and pigs art !
Dallas said it was a great day . I appreciate she and Jessica stepping in to make the day perfect for the kids.
