Little Miss Muffet
Today’s nursery rhyme was Little Miss Muffet
Little Miss Muffet
Sat on her tuffet
Eating her curds and whey
Along came a spider
Who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet Away.
The kids KNOW this nursery rhyme. We have learned it by singing it this week to a very catchy tune.
In circle time we made a spider web with yarn and talked about spiders .
We also did a sequencing activity today. We put the nursery rhyme in order !
Activities like this help us learn words like first, second , third and fourth. We also learn first and last . We also get practice in ” reading ” left to right. First always starts on the left.
Outside Mr Randy played a game of bocce ball with the kids. It was a beautiful day !
