Gobble Gobble
Today we did the obligatory handprint turkey. We talked about whether turkeys were actually rainbow colored like we seen in so many crafts and pictures. The girls thought they were.
Can you imagine a child’s surprise that has made cute crafts all of their young years and never been exposed to real things? Like wait what? A turkey doesn’t have rainbow colored wings?
We do this little craft every year and for months following the children trace their hands making other things. There’s value in it so we’ll keep plugging along.
