Beautiful Pumpkins
Today was a wonderful day in our preschool, filled with creativity and joy! With a smaller group, the girls had the opportunity to engage in some wonderful activities that sparked their imagination.
We started our morning with a fun dress-up session before breakfast, allowing the girls to express themselves in playful ways. It’s always heartwarming to see their personalities shine through in their outfits!
After breakfast, we transitioned into our pumpkin-themed art project. The girls used various mediums to create their own pumpkins, beginning with directed drawing methods.
It was amazing to watch them follow along, applying their skills to draw unique designs.
Once their drawings were complete, the excitement continued as I cut out their pumpkins. The real magic happened when they used the backs of paintbrushes to create beautiful dot patterns, turning their simple drawings into vibrant pumpkin paintings.
It’s moments like these that highlight the joy of creativity and the endless possibilities that art can bring to our young learners.
