Leaf Man
Today was an exciting and creative day for our preschoolers! We started our morning by diving into the enchanting world of “Leaf Man,” a delightful book filled with beautiful illustrations made entirely from leaves.
The children were captivated by the turtles, butterflies, people, and fish depicted in the story, sparking their imaginations.
Before heading outside for some playtime, we took a walk around the block.
During our stroll, we discussed the various things we could create using leaves. The children were eager to participate and thoughtfully collected leaves along the way. Skylee even exclaimed, “Look! I found a perfect one for the body of the butterfly!” as she picked up a long, skinny leaf.
Once we returned indoors, we gathered to discuss our plans for our leaf creations. I am thrilled to report that their artistic endeavors were great!
