Cooking and Math
Today the children cooked their own lunch. They made individual pizzas.
First. We spread the pizza sauce
Next we add the ground beef and pepperoni
Last we sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
Cooking with kids in the kitchen gives you many opportunities to use math language.
And it gives them great joy and a sense of confidence with their finished project.
