Today we continued exploring our pumpkin. We used a bathroom scale to see how heavy it was.
Is it heavier or lighter than Our friends?
We took a ruler to see how tall the pumpkin was. We could not use the ruler to see how round the bumpkin was. Hmmm
We used to tape measure to see how many inches round the pumpkin was. The tape measure is made out of a different material and will easily go around curved surfaces.
We used Legos to see how tall the pumpkin was. Children use non-standard measures all the time.
Elijah’s grandma brought us some more pumpkins. I can’t wait to see where this addition takes our conversation. One is huge and white and there are two tiny ones. And another orange one. Which orange one is largest?
Yikes. So much learning going on.
We were inspired by our pumpkin to do a little art.
The pumpkin was so heavy but Levi decided he needed to do some push-ups and build his muscles to make it easier to pick up.
