Color Throwing
A friend from New York did a color throwing activity at her family childcare home the other day and I thought “ why not?” It looked like great fun. So we did it.
We only had one rule. Throw paint on the fence .
There was lots of conversation while they were playing. Why is this brown now? Green is my favorite color ! Can I throw the pink ? Wow ! That went fast.
We also took a few minutes to watch a color mixing video. We are going to replicate the experience tomorrow.
I printed some rainbows for the children to enjoy. I did not give them direction . It was interesting to see who chose to use the structured sheets.
