This morning I drew the simple outline of a small train track and laid it on the table. I did not tell the children what to do. I wanted to see what they thought should happen. Obviously they have some experience with Candyland 🤣The children’s artwork has been really detailed and quite impressive the last few weeksLevi was the only child that really did any “ train “ work today. He spent quite a while in the block room building this train from Legos. Miss Holly grabbed the floor book and began to dictate. I need to have Miss Holly show me how to print pictures off from my phone in smaller sizes. But the first pictures in our book are huge and beautiful of Levi’s work with his train. I was able to crop the picture I took of Miss Holly observing Levi. Tomorrow we will show Levi the book and ask him if he wants to add anything to his story. We also started a sign in sheet for the children today. I normally start this somewhere near the end of the last semester. This activity is mainly for our kiddos that will be going into kindergarten but the younger children enjoy it too. I don’t have it in the sign in area so there is less pressure from parents to be perfect. so there is no pressure from parents to be perfect. 🤷🏻♀️
