Today we started a unit on farm. I find it interesting that most of the kids thought that farms mainly raised animals and knew little about vegetation farms. My mom was raised in a huge farming community and many of my uncles and cousins raise cotton.
We had new materials on the table today. This puzzle was the only one I got a picture of .
We made homemade butter by taking whipping cream and shaking it in a baby food jar. We tasted it at lunch.
We had new music today. We sang the song F A R M which helps us remember these letters we have already learned and we also did ” Old MacDonald Had a Farm.” and heard the letters E I E I O. Many times literacy and music go hand in hand.
