The Ants Go Marching
Today after celebrating Avery’s birthday,
we put our ants in the ant farm or the ant habitat… Might as well expand that language while we’re talking- right? It was tricky getting the ants inside that small hole and we had to sacrifice a few 😵💫 but we got it done
We read a book that was sent with the ants that talked about the different kinds of ants and how they grow and where they live.
We even marched around to The Ants Go Marching
All that excitement today and today was international day! We created dot art with our dot markers.
Outside we ate candy and also enjoyed Ice Cream.
It was a fantastic day!
Today is a great example of well laid plans. We’re starting an exploration of trees as we begin to notice that our trees are changing in the fall. We didn’t get to the tree activity I had planned for day today. Today was just a little bit too much with everything else on a Monday. It’s OK we’ll pick it up tomorrow.
