Grandparents Are Amazing
This morning started with the arrival of grandparents. Many of the grandparents arrived before the children. There was excitement in the air as the littles came in the door to their surprises.
After the grandparents left we had a couple sad littles but they recovered and we carried on with our day. At Bright Beginnings we aren’t frustrated with these emotions. It’s a perfect time to start practicing self regulation.
There was LOTS of beauty shop play today.
I introduced scissors this morning and we cut tiny snippets to create a name art collage. Everyone was able to cut! We talked about what we CAN cut and what we can NOT cut.
We played outside and ended our time going on a short walk looking for signs of fall or pieces of nature.
The girls were pretty successful.
