Cooking and Crafts
I’m probably going to have to switch our cooking day from Wednesday to another day during the week. The primary day that I’ll be gone a few hours working with other homes is Wednesday.Brittany will be here most Wednesdays. I don’t want to put that added responsibility on her.
The girls cooked their breakfast.
It was absolutely delicious. We had Jiffy muffin mix – blueberry muffins. We all mixed that up.
Then I asked them would they like to turn it into a coffee cake. We talked about some people and some don’t like coffee. Lucy said her mama does not like coffee, but her granny P does.
I explained that this wont taste like coffee so we follow the directions and added the extra layer on the top and oh my goodness!! it was delicious. They are good cooks.
Also, we did our monthly self portrait today
And we painted a wooden leaf garland that I picked up at Hobby lobby last night.
It was a busy day, but it was a good day.
