Happy Friday!
Today we held our first Friday dance party. Dance parties are not an uncommon thing at Bright Beginnings. Traditions are important in early childhood settings. Think back to your childhood- maybe your mom cooked the same thing every Sunday afternoon, or maybe you all watched the same show together on Tuesday nights. Traditions are what makes us feel part of something bigger than we are. There are many ways we do this in our setting, the Friday dance party is one of those .
We also did our firsthand print art. We aren’t big on arts and crafts here, but this was an intentional one to decorate our room with pieces of each of us.
