Continued Assessments and On The Job Training
Today I did a little more work on our end of year assessments.
I have four more children to work with tomorrow and then I can score. It’s so time consuming and tedious.
We had new paint pallets today and I think it’s my new favorite.
Desirae ( Avery’s mom ) worked with me today until noon. When she arrived, I gave her a notebook and a pen to take notes throughout the day.
We talked about how things are done for minimum standards best practice and national accreditation. It’s a lot. Like there’s even a certain way to wash the table. I go along through the give her all the text and tricks that I know to make the day easier.
She Will be one of my extra subs next year, so I’m getting some training time and now when it’s not so hectic at the beginning of the year. She impressed me the last time she helped out. She said “ I’ve always wanted to be a teacher.” So I know she has a heart for the kiddos . She took a lot of notes today.❤️
