The day started with a series of assessments, focusing on colors, numbers, and singing the ABC SONG. One particular hurdle while counting seemed to be remembering the numbers 13 to 15, but I find this to be pretty common with our preschoolers. They tend to skip either 14 or 15. Eventually they will get it.
In the midst of our assessments, something magical happened – our butterflies hatched! Three beautiful butterflies emerged from their cocoons, and we eagerly await the arrival of four more. It was a mesmerizing sight to see these delicate creatures unfold their wings and embark on their new journey. To enhance our butterfly experience, we explored a butterfly book and learned more about their life cycle and unique characteristics.
We also took a quick trip upstairs to see what progress was being made in the grandkids bunkroom The addition of sheet rock Brought a whole new, look to the room The kids were fascinated by the changes and it sparked their curiosity about construction and renovations.
To add to the excitement, we had visitors today – a caregiver from a un regulated childcare home . Making friends fast is something we excel at, and it was no different this time. We quickly formed a connection and enjoyed getting to know each other. It’s always wonderful to meet new people and expand our circle of friends.
