Today was a fun-filled day as we celebrated Easter together. We kicked off the festivities by decorating boiled eggs using shaving cream and food coloring, creating beautiful marbled patterns. It was a creative and messy activity that added a touch of excitement to our lunch plans.
To reinforce the message of slowing down and appreciating the little things, we read a story called “Not So Fast, Rodney the Rabbit.” The story reminded us that taking our time can lead to unexpected discoveries, just like finding hidden eggs during an egg hunt.
We wanted to capture the joy of our Easter themed adventures , so we took pictures of our amazing art pieces for our learning stories.
Adding a touch of sweetness to our day, we sorted jellybeans by color. It was a simple activity that helped us practice our sorting skills while indulging in some tasty treats.
Avery and Lucy’s mom joined us to hide eggs so Kinzley and Ruby were able to play. This will be their preschool family next fall. They did great.
To end our bunny-filled day, we hopped to bunny music, letting loose and embracing the holiday spirit. It was a fantastic day filled with laughter, creativity, and a sense of togetherness.
Easter celebrations are always special, and today was no exception. We made lasting memories and learned valuable lessons along the way. It was a day filled with joy, love, and the spirit of Easter.
Our Easter holiday break will commence directly after this yummy Easter snack after nap. ❤️
