🐰🎨 Today, we had an absolutely wonderful time creating Easter bunny masterpieces on canvas. 🌟 These art pieces turned out to be incredibly adorable, and what’s even more special is that the children were almost entirely responsible for their creation. 🎨✨
During the project, I provided gentle guidance and instructions to the children, turning it into a valuable learning activity. For example, I would ask them to start with a big hill for the bunny’s head and then add two ears on top. We talked about drawing the eyes, nose, and even creating a tricky mouth. Some of the children needed a little assistance, so I would demonstrate on paper to help them understand. We also discussed using different pressures when applying the pink paint and how to use their fine motor skills to carefully sprinkle the dusty glitter on top. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to develop their creativity and motor skills! 🎨🌟
I truly hope that these precious Easter bunny canvases will be cherished and displayed for years to come. If it were up to me, I would suggest finding an outrageously thick gold frame to showcase these beautiful works of art. It would add an extra touch of elegance and make them truly stand out. 🖼️✨
In addition to our artistic adventure, today was also “Cooking Wednesday” at our program, and the children had a fantastic cooking experience. They worked together, with one table mixing up the delicious chocolate pudding
and the other table crushing the Oreo cookies for the topping
. I told them that while they’re asleep, a magical bunny and an Easter egg will appear, transforming their creation into a special dessert for the afternoon. 🍫🐇🥚
