Second Semester is my Favorite
It’s heartwarming to witness the children’s continuous growth and creativity in their block exploration. Each day, their structures become more intricate, showcasing their development. As a teacher focusing on social-emotional development, I embrace the challenges that arise, like space constraints and frustrations, as they offer opportunities for valuable discussions and community-building and coaching.
Amidst the playful chaos, we also delved into art today, with a reminder to keep the paints accessible for our budding artists. Finding a consistent system is a goal, and today’s vibrant creations serve as a reminder of the magic that unfolds when creativity flows freely. I need to do better. Our paints are not readily accessible and view, and I forget about them.
On a bittersweet note, we shared in the love and farewells for Trae, cherishing the connections and memories created. Tomorrow marks a new chapter for Trae . It will be his last day. The bonds formed will be cherished and remembered. As we talked about it being trace last day, a couple of the children got up and hugged him in the moment. ❤️❤️❤️
