The Basket
We are back! Yay! It has been a fabulous day. We celebrated journeys 5th birthday
And read books and played all morning.
We even went outside. Once we got in the sunshine the kids coats came off and I wished I had come outside earlier.
Look at those shadows!
We initiated a new routine today to keep our new toilet healthy. We flushed it and heard how much quieter it is now. I have removed anything from the bathroom that might fit in the toilet. I added a basket outside the door. We talked about IF we are in a hurry and need to go potty but have something in our hands we can place it in the basket to be safe until we come out.
Giving children structures / routines to be successful is important.
