Turkey Handprints
Today we did turkey handprints after reading a book introducing Thanksgiving.
I showed them how to trace their hand to make the turkey
Then the creations took on a life of their own.
Thanksgiving and the term thankful are hard to grasp at this age. Preschoolers are very egocentric. The best way to teach an attitude of “thankfulness” is modeling daily.
