Thunder cake
This is one of my favorite books. It’s about a little girl who is afraid of the storm and her grandma helps her bake a cake to take her mind off the storm. It’s a little wordy so I improvise. Since it stormed this morning we read the book and baked a cake.
It was our first cooking experience of the year.
Everyone got a turn to do something.
We baked the cake and will have it for snack.
