It does my heart so good to hear a child yell “Look Ms Debbie!! The tree has flowers!” The Bradford pear tree is so beautiful this time of year. It’s a great science experience for the kids to watch it go from “ branches” ( as Nayomi said) to flowers to leaves. There isn’t a sequencing game or puzzle that can outshine a real experience like this.
Despite Mr Randys feeding tube being broken he is having a good day. The kids caught a glimpse of him in the hallway and they were so excited.
It’s that time of year when I really encourage the older children to write their names more intentionally like on a sign in sheet. The younger crew enjoy it too
The sandboxes are filled and were a huge hit.
I moved the new patio set out of the playhouse. The kids weren’t sure. We talked about what to do with the empty playhouse. They decided to have a “meeting” in the new space.
I started back family style meals today. Rosemary set the table.
The little milk pitcher was a hit and no one spilled while pouring
They even served their own food.
I can tell you this was hard for me. It’s not time efficient AT ALL. By the time they were finished my eye was twitching.
It will get better with practice.
Today was a good day. I think my body forgot what it’s like to work all day 🥴
