Crafts and stuff
Today we did a directed drawing of a Christmas tree. Our tree was more the realistic type of tree than the cartoon type. I love directed drawings. Not only does it show the children they CAN draw real things but it’s great for teaching concepts naturally. ( As naturally as a teacher directed craft can be. 😑)
In the Christmas tree drawing we used terms like
Long – short – thick – narrow – dark – light – few – many – more – brown – green – shades- pastels, chalk
We also made another Christmas tree ornament today.
I’m not sure how we managed it all with the bathroom downstairs overflowing. 315.00 later and lunch at the “ fancy “ table we are set. 🙃
