Faces Change
Today we took a look at our baby pictures and tried to guess who was who. Some were very easy. Some were more difficult. It was fun. Even Mr. Randy got in on the fun.
We started our day reading a specific book today.
Mr Randy and Mrs Melissa let me know yesterday when I was out was hard. There were a few meltdowns, there was a huge drain pulled down from the roof above the rain barrel ( but how 😳😳😳😳) and a couple of our friends flat out refused to lay down on their mat during rest time. I’m a little confused by all of this. Don’t get me wrong all our days aren’t perfect but 🥺woof. We handle days like that just like a family would. “ let’s talk about what happened yesterday while I was gone.” Hopefully, this was the last day of littles thinking rules and boundaries don’t apply when I’m out. I have one more official observation I am scheduled for before November 12th in Norman ok and I plan to tell NAFCC that I can’t be out more. Obviously there’s a disconnect and my goal is to help your littles be successful.
On my way home yesterday I stopped and got us some new loose parts. Lots of foundation skills happens with materials like this .
I got a few new dress up clothes too !
We did play outside until the rain started coming down harder.
We ran inside and did a little art. Look what happened. Royce wrote an R !!!
We really had a good day. We will move forward and leave yesterday where it is.
