Well Hello Fall
If you don’t have a job where you got to sit outside today you are missing out. It was an absolutely amazing day. After breakfast and family time we headed outside.
It’s interesting when you’ve spend long periods of time doing anything with children- after the first hour and a half or so their play changes. They begin to do more group games and have more cooperative play. Definitely fascinating to watch!
Early in our play individuals are playing in different parts of the outdoor classroom.
Then I started seeing groups working together.
Games of hide and seek going on
And again with the chalk.
Many times I thought about going inside but as they played and the flags in the breeze
I know that the opportunity to spend extended periods of time will pass soon as cooler weather approaches. I’m happy with this little extra early day of fall today.
