Here !! They are all here. That was my favorite book in grade school. I remember watching it on microfilm in the library. I was reminded today when the children were so wild. 😳. This is nothing new. Every year the last few weeks of school are a little ramped up. Everything is louder and bigger. Thats normal. I’m not sure why it catches me off guard.
Some examples:
Someone glued paper to the floor today. 🤷🏻♀️
Someone tried to use the yarn to make a trap with the storm shelter door. 🙃
I won’t bore you with a list. Just know it was CRAY .
This time of year children are testing boundaries. I am not always opposed to that. I am a strong leader and a rule follower but I sometimes test boundaries. We need boundary testers. There are people who set unrealistic boundaries.
The children are louder. They all want to be heard. Not a terrible thing
The children are starting to talk a lot about when they go to kindergarten. It hasn’t hit them yet that they won’t all be together. I am hearing things like “ I’m going to miss you and this school .” And “oh no – Nayomi didn’t get a paper to ride the school bus.” It hasn’t hit them yet either that not everyone is going.
This is a wild crazy time. We have two weeks. We’re gonna make the best of it.
