Boxes Are Big
Today we continued to look at flowers and what we might still learn. I added some loose parts for the children to make their own artistic flowers.
It’s so interesting to me that children always sort before the play with loose parts. Someone should do a study on that.
If our brains are automatically wired to sort from birth that might answer a few cultural questions as well. So interesting .
We talked about pollinators but I think it’s still a bit chilly to see them flying around. And why can’t cheetahs be pollinators. Silly boys and their questions. What would happen if a cheetah sat on a flower ?
The most exciting part of the day was me unboxing some new materials we received. The children loved them and immediately began playing —- with the BOXES.
Give a kid a box and he will entertain himself all day.
