Polar express days are always so magical. A lot of time is spent planning – down to the minutes on our schedule for the day.
Probably my favorite part of the day is when Randy delivers the hot chocolate . I can’t imagine a polar express here that does not include that.
The kids loved the snowball fight and made beautiful snowflake ornaments.
And just in case you think this day is all about fun and no learning takes place let me remind you – you can not keep the children from learning. I wonder who ended up with the most snowballs on their side of the table ?
And making our special reindeer food called for counting and great fine motor control .
And perhaps the best part of the day is when the kids opened presents that look just like the one in the story.
And now the children are all nestled- all snug in their beds while visions of sugarplums dance over their heads. And when they wake up we will be on Christmas break

Thanks for all you do and your approach to daily lessons and your kids.
Randy. I enjoyed seeing you on the telecast Tuesday night and being
with Father as he shared the Catholic history of activities during the Civil War.
Christmas Peace and prayers for you and your work.
