I’ve really come to believe that with this group of kids a calm , peaceful classroom is our norm.
Today with some of the kids I played an alphabet game. It wasn’t like your normal alphabet game. Children sometimes your memorize the shape of letters to know what they are. Before doing that they have to be able to see the difference. So today some of us did some sorting. We sorted out which letters have holes and which letters do not.
We are still growing going strong in our purple book called Hegarty. Each week we do a new nursery rhyme along with other skills. Maybe your child is even doing some of them at home. Today we started old mother Hubbard.
