Rain is Falling Down
Since it was raining outside this morning and we couldn’t go outside we decided to make it rain inside… purple rain ! PURPLE RAIN PURPLE RAIN ( If you just sung that in your head you really love cool music.) We also had orange and blue and green and yellow rain.
It was fun to watch the children decide how to get the drops on their page. Some placed intentional drops over the paper.
Some were’t quiet as careful but LOVED the dripping part of the activity. 
Yes, it was messy but using droppers is a great fine motor activity. We also used expanded language by throwing words like ” pressure ” and ” suction” into the conversation. 
But look at the beautiful masterpieces. And.. we aren’t finished yet. There is more to come.
