Birds in Flight
Today ,like most days lately, ran from quiet refection
to excited giggles as we shared lunch as future kindergarteners
to screams as our baby birds jumped from the safety of their nest into the yard and scattered in three different directions.
As we can in a cat was lurking nearby. I tried to catch the babies and put them back where they belong but they continued to hop, fly and run away.
I am sure there is a life lesson in that somewhere as we approach kindergarten.
