Birds
Today we started unit on birds. It was a perfect day to start exploring birds . We charted what we know !
Thankfully our morning started off with a little ” bird excitement. ” We found a nest with eggs in a fern on our porch. The birds next there almost every year. It kills the fern. Totally worth it.
Other activities we had our today was clay for modeling birds.
Birds for sorting and counting .
Costumes for pretending we are birds.
Lastly we went on a bird watch. We saw birds and evidence of birds. We heard birds ! It was a great day for a bird walk.
