Turkey’s Here and There
Today was a menage of completing turkey products for our Thanksgiving feast. One of the things we worked on was a finger / hand puppet. This is great. You can use it years from now to entertain guest at your home.
In other news, Dallas and I are going away to a training retreat at Lake Fort Smith directly after school. This will be a time to learn and unwind with like minded friends that also believe in family childcare. We are looking forward to it . This year so far Randy has 77 training hours. Dallas has 35 training hours. I have accumulated 116 training hours. That is a lot. When a teacher stops feeling the need to learn and grow and keep current in her field it is time to find a new career. We love learning how to make sure our time with your kiddos is well thought out, intentional and developmentally appropriate. Most of these trainings are done after hours and without extra pay. It’s worth it.
As you can see, Dallas is excited about rooming with me tonight !
