Wrapping Up A Week Of Travel
Today we wrapped up a week of learning about traveling by people and animal power. I read a book today called ” My Dream Car. ” Its about a little boy that builds his dream car. It can fly and float and even submerge under the water.It had a button that when he got hungry he could push it and his favorite snacks would magically appear. After reading the book the kids brainstormed if they built a car what it would look like or have in it.
The kids car would be pink , purple and red. It would have a pool in it ( like barbies magic dream house car ) and it would be able to fly and be a boat so we could go on vacation.
We also took a little walk around the block to get some fresh air and exercise to see a house that we have been watching. At the beginning of the school year we would walk next to a vacant lot. Last week we walked by and they had started building a house. The foundation was set. The builders worked hard this week. We walked by today and all the post for the walls are up. The children were surprised at how fast it happened. I actually was surprised myself ! We will keep checking back and maybe… Ill contact the builder to see if we can take a little tour before he gets flooring in. 🙂
