L sounds like lalalalalaalala…
I know.. it doesnt actually sounds like lalalalalalalala….. there isnt a short a sound in there but it is so much more fun to teach when you can sing it. Since we have been talking about leaves I introduced the letter L today and its sound.
Other things were :
We journaled .
We did self portraits.
We played with a new game Logan donated to our school.
We sang songs with Mr Randy and his guitar.
We had circle time.
We had lunch and breakfast.
We played outside.
We built large block structures.
We pretended we were witches on a broom .
There is so much that happens every day. The most exciting thing that happened today was that Ms Dallas had to stay home with sick littles and Randy and I worked alone. We did it ! We even had fun doing it. It was actually a pretty great day. I did plea mercy this morning and told the kids that I needed their help since Ms Dallas wasnt here.
Ah…… its nap time .
