We did it !
With the exception of the two little boys out sick today we have completed our Dial 3 screening on everyone. All I have to do now is score them and enter the data online and schedule parent conferences. Whew… thats a load off my mind. I am hoping in early October to schedule parent conferences and we will go over the assessment and set goals together for your child.
Part of being a school family is having a job. Everyone likes to feel needed. Yesterday we introduced classroom jobs and today we started them. We had to do a little arranging so one little one is still waiting for hers to be official ( laminated and posted ). Each week our jobs will rotate. If you want to see what your child’s job is you can look on the top of the cubby and the ” job” is posted there.
So far today, no more sick little friends. I started diffusing essential oils today in our classroom. If you have never been around them when you walk in today you might think we had a thai dish for lunch. For some the smell is not a good one and some people love it. I am willing to do whatever I need to do to keep illness down in our preschool family. Please continue to have your child wash their hands at home .. a lot.
