Way Up High in the Apple Tree
Each day gets a little easier as we ” figure ” out what each child needs from us. 🙂 That is a good thing.
Today there was a lot of weighing and stacking apples on the scale. It takes a lot of thinking to figure out how to get more on top so they will stay.
Then someone takes it a step further to do a little one to one correspondence. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when math skills naturally take place without my intervention.
We did a sorting game today in small groups.
And there was a little activity to help us start recognizing the letters of the alphabet.
