Today the kids helped me make a banner to hang that says ” Happy Thanksgiving. ” The background is music notes and the letter are covered with beans. When they first got curious to see what was going on at the table they tried to find the first letter of their name. It didnt take them long to realize that not everyone had a letter on the table that started with their name.
We talked about what animals do in the fall and the word hibernation today. We played a little game called ” hibernation.” The kids laid their heads down on the table to hibernate and I would call out a number . As I counted and reached that number the kids woke up .
