The GREAT EGG DROP
I woke up at 5 am this morning and couldn’t go back to sleep . Maybe like the kids I was excited about our egg drop .The egg drop went great . There was only one melt down over a broken egg and a lot of great ” egging” on and shouts of hurray! 
These are the kids who’s egg did not break. Since part of the fun was ” having your egg break” I let them throw theirs in the driveway.
We also did an art activity with stickers and water colors.
Danielle dyed eggs with them !
Mia was the first today to notice that one of our peeps had disappeared. The first one to dissolve was the one in the laundry detergent.
Todays emphasis was Humpty Dumpty – hence all the egg activities ! We talked about rhyming words and positional words like ” humpty was in FRONT of the wall – BEHIND the wall – BESIDE the wall… ” We explored reasons we bought that Humpty might have fallen off the wall and why was he up there to begin with.
It was a very full but fun day.
