What do bears do in the winter ?
Today has been a BLAH.. day. Nothing exciting or new really going on EXCEPT we pretended to be bears that hibernate during the winter .
When I said ” winter” they all went to sleep. When I said ” spring” they all came out. Then I changed my language to ” the trees are starting to get leaves again and the grass is turning green ” or ” I see snow !!!”
The kids really enjoyed this game!
We are learning about bears this week too. We will be playing the “hibernating/sleeping” game tomorrow. I am seeming to have a hard time this year with our Winter theme, as it is 60 degree’s out today, and has been pretty warm so far this winter. I’m not wishing for cold weather, but I’m sure it’s on its way 😉
