Today we engaged in several fun activities designed to help our little ones become more familiar with the letters in their names.
We started by playing a creative game where the girls used a spider to find the letters of their names on a web they drew. This activity not only helped them recognize the letters in their names but also allowed them to develop their motor skills while drawing. It’s amazing to see how much they enjoy learning through play!
Next, we had a blast with a song game called “Who Took the Pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch.” We personalized the song by inserting each girl’s name, making it a fun way to reinforce name recognition. This interactive game kept the girls engaged and excited, and I noticed lots of smiles and laughter!
As we played, we also took notice of how I highlighted specific letters. This gave us the opportunity to learn about letters that may not be in the girls’ names, expanding their letter recognition even further.
Finally, we wrapped up the day by painting pumpkins!
